Homestead Rest Area
General Maintenance Program

Through an agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation, FAYCO Enterprises performs routine maintenance and cleaning services to the Homestead Rest Area which is located along Interstate 55 near Hamel, Illinois.

Two crews work 16 hours on a daily basis to ensure that the multitude of motorists that frequent the rest area have a clean and safe place to rest and relax while traveling through this great state of ours.

During the Summer months more personnel are added to expand the services with a total of close to 14,050 hours devoted each year to the Homestead rest area.
